Xica Soul

Xica Soul is a Los Angeles, CA based DJ who got her start DJing in San Francisco in 2010. She has hosted radio shows on KCSB-FM, and most recently Artform Radio on Worldwide-FM, as well as KQBH-FM in Los Angeles. Her record collection and musical tastes are always evolving – an inevitable biproduct from the boundlessness of music – ranging from heartfelt sweet soul to disco, house and everything in between. She is drawn to unique and quirky vocals, lo-fi sounds, heavy drums and the subtle yet textured sound of synthesizers. Many of which you will hear in this mix! Xica Soul weaves varying genres into her sets with ease, telling stories, and pushing limits with her selections.
