Formed as part of their monthly Phonobar residency in 2019, Tribe Jazz is dj/selector duo, mustafa & Earl Biggers. Raised on golden-era hip hop, soul samples, and 90s house music, they eventually gravitated towards the more contemplative and spiritual dimensions of jazz. Sonically, their sensibilities converge in the exploration & synthesis between Mind, Body, and Spirit; while culturally, they aim to inspire hope & community in service of the message in the music and the wisdom that binds us all.
