Sinéad has been DJing for the last four years. In a short time, her distinct selections have earned her recognition among members of the dance community in numerous cities, and have landed her gigs such as regularly playing for the famously euphoric and freaky A Club Called Rhonda parties in Los Angeles, as well as parties that celebrate a more underground sound such as San Francisco based Kosmetik and Mr. Drummer 1979. Recently cutting her teeth and creating her own event, Metropolis an evening that aims to capture an intimate music experience that spans across many genres and vibrations. So far the event has been focused on the empowerment of strong women DJ’s. Sinéad initially was largely interested in synth-heavy productions and tracks intertwined with dark and slower tempo tracks that intertwined Middle Eastern sounds that laud her Iranian heritage. As a relatively new DJ, her sound is constantly evolving into something new but always with a sensual and sweet edgy undertone. Her collection is eclectic and spans a broad range of genres including balearic, disco, new beat, EBM, acid, new wave, post-punk, 90’s euro house, electro, and breakbeat. When given the opportunity, she thrives in high gear serving the crowd a rich mix of textured, hypnotic, and driving vibrations.
